Did you know your marriage is inextricably tied to your career?
Yes indeedy it is, and no, it wasn’t anything you did, or can undo, for that matter.
However, knowing and understanding this nugget of information can be quite useful.
My friend Fawn of The Happy Wives Club touches upon this in her recent newsletter:
I bet when you uttered the words ‘I Do’ the last thing you were thinking about was changing the world or how those two small words might even make an impact outside of your home. But it does. And it will.
There is a Chinese proverb I love: “When there is love in a marriage, there is harmony in the home. When there is harmony in the home, there is contentment in the community. When there is contentment in the community, there is prosperity in the nation. When there is prosperity in the nation, there is peace in the world.”
Who knew a harmonious and healthy marriage could lead to contentment and prosperity?
