Let your caged bird sing!

let your caged bird sing

We are all afraid of something, especially if we haven’t found our special something.

Especially if we go to work, day after day, and are emptied rather than fulfilled.

We wonder if this is all there is.

And then we beat ourselves up for not being grateful enough for what we do have.

Been there, got the t-shirt, as we say in my house.

Well, my friends, I have got a great book suggestion for you today, a change-your-life kind of read.

My good friend Joel Boggess has published a wonderful new book, Finding Your Voice:

I met Joel when I was as unhappy as I had ever been in a job.

He gave me hope, but even more, he gave me the how-to find my voice and give it wings.

His book can do the same for you.

Joel writes:

Knowing your voice means valuing your enduring qualities and unique traits. When you see your innate value—and yes, you are valuable—a light begins to shine within you. Rather than hiding in the shadows, tuning into your voice empowers you to see ways that you can: 1) make your corner of the worlds a brighter, more vibrant and exciting place, and 2) go out into the world and let your light—your gifts, experiences, knowledge, compassion, and skills—shine for others.

You can visit Joel’s site here and sign up to receive stories and excerpts from the book.

While you’re there, check out all the bonuses that come with the book if you order by November 6th.

Or, you can just click on the book image above and get that book ordered lickety-split.

Join me in discovering your caged bird, and let her sing!
